Sokeri
Sokeri kuohkeuttaa taikinaa ja antaa kauniin värin. Hiivataikinoissa LINKKI sokeri nopeuttaa kohoamista, koska hiiva käyttää sokeria ravinnokseen. Leivonnassa käytetään erilaisia sokereita koristeluun sekä luomaan erilaisia makuja. Näitä sokereita ovat esimerkiksi tomusokeri, raesokeri, fariinisokeri, siirappi ja vanilliinisokeri.
